This equipment is an 8-channel hot press formation machine designed for batteries with tabs on the same side. The machine adopts a horizontal structure and includes one pressing unit. Each unit has four layers of pressing plates, and each layer can hold two batteries, providing a total of eight channels. The equipment is mainly used for formation of pouch lithium-ion batteries under hot pressing conditions. It can replace the conventional baking and shaping process used in battery formation, while shortening the formation time, reducing the battery production cycle, and minimizing manual labor. After vacuum sealing, the battery surface becomes flatter with improved appearance. The equipment simultaneously completes battery formation and hot press shaping. The machine consists of three main parts: the frame, formation fixtures, and power supply system. It includes heating and temperature control functions, charging function, data connection and communication functions, as well as safety and protection features such as smoke alarm.
