Product Application

Lithium carbonate powder can be used as a precursor for the synthesis of pre-lithiated cathodes in next-generation lithium-ion batteries or supercapacitors. It effectively compensates for the initial irreversible lithium loss during the first charge/discharge cycle.

  • On one hand, it acts as a lithium source to enhance the initial coulombic efficiency and energy density.

  • On the other hand, it aids in improving the output voltage of high-nickel cathodes.

  • Additionally, it helps correct the lithium stoichiometry of anode materials (such as silicon-carbon composites), ensuring the accuracy of lithium content and improving the electrochemical balance and energy density of the cell.
