Manual Electrode Disc Punching Machine XN-HPM-24

SKU: XN-HPM-24

Manual Electrode Disc Punching Machine XN-HPM-24 is a compact hand-operated punch for cutting discs from coin-cell electrodes, separator films, and other thin battery materials. A hand-crank lever drives the upper punch through a precision linear slide into the lower die, producing burr-free discs in a single stroke.

Die sizes Φ5 to Φ24 mm (customer-specified), material thickness 0.005–0.5 mm, anti-rust aluminum body, antistatic ABS scrap tray. Compact enough to pass through a Φ200 mm glovebox antechamber.

Name: Manual Electrode Disc Punching Machine XN-HPM-24

Equipment Type: Hand-Operated Electrode Disc Punch / Coin-Cell Electrode Puncher

Product Code: XN-HPM-24

Brand: Xnergy

Product Introduction:

Manual Electrode Disc Punching Machine XN-HPM-24 is a compact hand-operated punching tool designed for cutting precision discs from coin-cell electrodes, separator films, and other thin battery materials. A hand-crank lever drives the upper punch through a precision linear slide into the lower die, shearing the material into a clean disc with no burr or impression. The unit is fully mechanical with no power supply requirement, and is compact enough to pass through a Φ200 mm glovebox antechamber for inert-atmosphere disc preparation. The corrosion-resistant aluminum body and antistatic ABS scrap tray support clean use in dry-room and glovebox environments.

Working Principle:

Place the material to be punched on the lower die plate. Rocking the hand-crank lever drives the upper punch downward into the lower die, shearing through the material. Remove the scrap tray to retrieve the punched disc.

Key Features:

Hand-operated, no power supply required — works in any environment
Compact footprint passes through a Φ200 mm glovebox antechamber for inert-atmosphere operation
Precision linear slide guides the upper punch — no burr, no impression

Application Areas:

XN-HPM-24 is suitable for:

Coin-cell (CR20xx, CR16xx) electrode disc preparation from coated electrode strip
Punching separator film discs to match cell-format requirements
Cutting discs from current-collector foils for half-cell or symmetric-cell testing
Glovebox / inert-atmosphere disc preparation for moisture- and oxygen-sensitive materials such as lithium metal, sodium metal, and solid-state electrolytes
R&D and quality-check sampling of electrode coatings

Maintenance:

Clean the equipment regularly with a soft cloth lightly moistened with alcohol
Lubricate moving parts periodically to ensure smooth operation
If the equipment is not used for an extended period, clean the moving surfaces and apply a protective anti-rust coating
Periodically inspect screws, nuts, pins, and other fasteners to prevent loosening

Safety Notes:

Do not place hands or other body parts in the punch / die work area during operation
Operation should be performed by a single trained operator to avoid accidental injury
Disassembly should only be performed by qualified technicians

Specifications are provided for reference. Custom die diameters between Φ5 and Φ24 mm are specified at order time.

Note: Specifications listed above are typical and for reference only. Actual punching performance depends on material thickness, hardness, and die condition. XN-HPM-24 is positioned as the lab-essential tool for coin-cell electrode preparation — what sets it apart from larger punching machines is the combination of glovebox-passable footprint, fully mechanical operation with no power supply, and a thickness window that extends down to 5 μm for ultra-thin separators and metal-foil substrates. This makes it the standard choice for moisture- and oxygen-sensitive workflows involving lithium metal, sodium metal, and solid-state electrolyte chemistries, where every punching step must happen inside an inert-atmosphere glovebox. Upstream electrode strip is typically produced via the Slot-Die Coating System XN-SDC and then either slit to width on the XN-CSER-300 roll-to-roll slitter or fed directly to XN-HPM-24 for disc punching.
