CR2032 Coin Cell Case with Double Kapton Windows
Product Type: In-Situ X-Ray / Neutron Diffraction Coin Cell Case
Product Code: XN-CR2032KAP2S
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction
The XN-CR2032KAP2S is a CR2032 coin cell case with Kapton windows on both sides, designed for full-penetration in-situ X-ray or neutron diffraction analysis during battery cycling. Unlike the single-window CR2032KAP, the dual-window design allows the beam to pass completely through the cell, enabling phase variation analysis of both electrode and electrolyte materials during charge and discharge. The positive side is aluminum-coated and a polypropylene O-ring provides a leak-free seal.
Key Features
• Double Kapton windows (both sides) — enables full X-ray or neutron beam penetration through the assembled cell
• 10 mm window diameter — compatible with standard synchrotron and lab X-ray beam sizes
• Aluminum-coated positive case — improves corrosion resistance and electrochemical stability
• PP sealing O-ring — provides a reliable, leak-free seal during cycling
• 5 pairs per pack

Application Notes
• To minimize X-ray photon loss and maximize signal resolution, use a carbon-based substrate as the current collector instead of aluminum or copper foil.
• A dry pressing die and lab press can be used to prepare electrode pellets in place of electrode-coated foil.
