The SPAN Dry Pouch Cell pairs a sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) cathode with a lithium-metal anode in a wound soft-pouch format, delivering an energy density of around 200 Wh/kg. Built with a water-based electrode process, it gives battery researchers and R&D teams a clean, reproducible lithium-sulfur (Li-S) platform for evaluating SPAN chemistry, electrolyte formulations, and lithium-metal cycling — without the dendrite and polysulfide-shuttle problems of conventional sulfur cathodes. Each cell is built to lab-grade consistency and can be fully customized for size, loading, and capacity.
