Name: Ceramic Three Roll Mill
Equipment Type: Desktop Laboratory Ceramic Three Roll Mill
Product Code: XN-50B
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction:
The XN-50B Ceramic Three Roll Mill is designed for laboratory grinding, refining, and dispersion of viscous materials. Material is fed between three horizontal rollers. The rollers operate with different rotational directions and speed differentials, generating squeezing and shear forces that break down agglomerates and improve material dispersion.
The roller-gap adjustment mechanism is designed for precise and stable control. By setting the inlet and outlet gaps, the machine can process materials with different viscosities and produce a narrower, more uniform particle distribution.
Key Features:
Three horizontal ceramic rollers for grinding and dispersion
Differential roller speeds generate strong shear forces
Adjustable inlet and outlet roller gaps
Precise and stable gap-control mechanism
Suitable for materials with different viscosities
Supports refining, deagglomeration, mixing, and dispersion
Compact laboratory configuration

Working Principle:
Material enters through the inlet gap between the first and second rollers. Squeezing and shear forces created by the rotating rollers reduce agglomerates and distribute the material. The processed material then passes through the outlet gap between the second and third rollers, where further shearing and refining take place before discharge.

Typical Applications:
Battery slurry and electrode-material research
Ceramic pastes and functional materials
Conductive pastes and electronic materials
Pigments, inks, and coatings
Adhesives and polymer formulations
Other viscous materials requiring grinding and dispersion
Note: Actual grinding and dispersion results depend on feed-material properties, viscosity, initial particle size, roller-gap settings, roller-speed relationships, and the number of passes.
