Laboratory Airflow Grinder XN-GTM-50

SKU: XN-GTM-50

Laboratory Airflow Grinder XN-GTM-50 is a flat-type jet mill that micronizes dry powders to D50 0.5–20 μm in a single pass, using high-speed compressed air to drive particle impact and shear with no rotating parts. A 304 stainless chamber lined with wear-resistant alumina ceramic keeps milling contamination-free.

An integrated vibration feeder controls the feed rate, and a cyclone separator with collecting bucket and dust-proof bag recovers product cleanly. Output 50–200 g/h.

Name: Laboratory Airflow Grinder XN-GTM-50
Equipment Type: Flat-Type Air-Jet Mill for Ultra-Fine Dry Powder Micronization
Product Code: XN-GTM-50
Brand: Xnergy

Product Introduction:

The XN-GTM-50 is a flat-type laboratory airflow grinder (jet mill) for ultra-fine, contamination-free dry milling. It uses high-speed compressed air to drive particles into repeated impact and shear, reducing them to a finished fineness of D50 0.5–20 μm with no rotating parts. Operation is stable and reliable: an integrated vibration feeder lets the operator fine-tune the feed rate, while a cyclone separator, collecting bucket and dust-proof bag capture the milled product cleanly. With a 304 stainless main shell lined with wear-resistant alumina ceramic, the unit grinds without contamination, making it well suited to high-purity laboratory and R&D powder preparation at 50–200 g/h.

Working Principle:

High-speed compressed air at 0.6–0.8 MPa drives the feed particles into repeated impact and shear inside the grinding chamber, reducing their size with no rotating parts. The ground fines are carried into the cyclone separator, where the product drops into the collecting bucket and fine dust is retained by the dust-proof bag.

Key Features:

304 stainless steel main shell lined with wear-resistant alumina ceramic — abrasion-resistant and contamination-free
No rotating parts for stable, reliable operation
Integrated vibration feeder for convenient feed-rate adjustment
Cyclone separator, collecting bucket and dust-proof bag for clean product recovery
Low gas consumption of 0.4–0.6 m³/min at 0.6–0.8 MPa working pressure
Customer-supplied gas source connects to the main gas line; internal pressure-regulating valve pre-installed

Application Areas:

Ultra-fine dry micronization of solid powders to D50 0.5–20 μm
Laboratory and small-batch R&D powder size reduction at 50–200 g/h
High-purity or contamination-sensitive materials suited to a ceramic-lined, contamination-free grinding path
Secondary fine grinding of pre-crushed feed (≤ 80 mesh) down to micron scale
Preparation of fine powder feedstock for downstream slurry mixing and coating work
Processes needing adjustable feed rate with closed cyclone collection

Maintenance:

Clean the exterior, feed inlet and collection parts with a soft cloth and alcohol after use
Periodically lubricate the moving components of the vibration feeder
Apply an anti-rust coating to bare metal surfaces before long-term storage
Regularly inspect screws, nuts and pneumatic connections to prevent loosening
Empty the collecting bucket and replace the dust-proof bag when full; verify the dust-exhaust path is clear before each run

Safety Notes:

Keep hands and feet away from the feed inlet and grinding area during operation
The unit should be operated by a single trained person
Disassembly and internal servicing must be performed only by a qualified technician
Operate only within the rated 0.6–0.8 MPa; fully depressurize and disconnect the compressed-air supply before any maintenance or disassembly

Specifications are provided for reference and may be adjusted to suit specific process requirements.

Note: Specifications listed above are typical and for reference only. Actual milling performance depends on feed material hardness, moisture content, and operating pressure. Within Xnergy’s milling line the XN-GTM-50 is the only airflow grinder — it reduces dry powder by high-speed air-driven impact with no rotating parts, in a ceramic-lined chamber for contamination-free operation, complementing rather than replacing the planetary ball mills. Because it accepts feed at ≤ 80 mesh, reduce coarse bulk material first on the XN-PM-200 Disc Crusher (≤ 20 mm → ~100 μm – 0.5 mm) before air milling. Where media-based grinding or sub-micron / nano fineness is required, step up to a planetary ball mill: general-purpose XN-YXQM Series for ambient grinding (0.4–100 L), XN-MAX1600 for mechanical alloying and rapid sub-micron grinding, or XN-XH-XQM for heat-sensitive materials held at 1–30 °C. The fine powder then feeds into slurry preparation — pair it with the XN-PVM-2L Dual Planetary Vacuum Mixer.
