Acrylic Glove Box Type C XN-GBTC
SKU: XN-GBTC
Acrylic Glove Box Type C XN-GBTC is the most capable of the acrylic series, with both the main box and the transition box able to be vacuumed to about -0.1 MPa. Pump-down and inert-gas back-fill give better control of moisture and oxygen during experiments.
Built from thicker 20–30 mm PMMA for vacuum operation, it stays fully transparent and highly sealed, with twelve sizes from 700 mm to 1200 mm wide and two to four glove ports.

Name: Acrylic Glove Box Type C XN-GBTC
Equipment Type: Acrylic (PMMA) Glove Box, Type C (Vacuum Main Box + Transition Box)
Product Code: XN-GBTC
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction:
The XN-GBTC Acrylic Glove Box, Type C, can be evacuated in both the main box and the transition box. Building on the Type A and Type B designs, it gives better control of water and oxygen content during experiments: the air inside the box is pumped out with a vacuum pump and inert gas is then back-filled to reach lower moisture and oxygen levels. The acrylic is 20–30 mm thick, and the box includes a transition box.
Key Features:
Fully transparent PMMA construction for easy observation
Highly sealed, with stainless steel valves for gas inlet and outlet
Sealed latex gloves for convenient work in an inert-gas atmosphere
Both the main box and the transition box can be vacuumed to about -0.1 MPa
Thicker 20–30 mm acrylic suited to vacuum operation
Better control of moisture and oxygen via pump-down and inert-gas back-fill

Application Areas:
Inert-gas isolation with the lowest moisture and oxygen of the acrylic series
Vacuum pump-down and inert-gas back-fill for sensitive handling
Battery R&D — handling sensitive materials and small assemblies under inert gas
Sample handling, weighing, and reactions under a protective atmosphere
Work needing a transparent, vacuum-capable main box and antechamber
Maintenance:
Inspect the gloves, seals, valves, and transition-box O-rings for wear or leaks
Clean the PMMA surfaces with soft, non-abrasive cloths to avoid scratching
Verify the vacuum pump, gas supply, and sealing before each session
Replace damaged gloves or seals promptly to maintain the atmosphere
Safety Notes:
Follow the correct evacuation and back-fill sequence for the main box and transition box
Use only the specified inert gas and do not exceed the rated vacuum
Keep the acrylic away from solvents and heat sources that can damage PMMA
Handle reactive or sensitive materials according to lab procedures
Specifications are provided for reference and may be adjusted to suit specific process requirements. Size, glove count, and options are specified at order time.
Note: Specifications listed above are typical and for reference only. The XN-GBTC Acrylic Glove Box, Type C, is the most capable of the acrylic series: both the main box and the transition box can be vacuumed to about -0.1 MPa, and thicker 20–30 mm PMMA supports pump-down and inert-gas back-fill for the lowest moisture and oxygen levels — suited to demanding handling of air- and moisture-sensitive materials such as Cathode Materials and Anode Materials. For transition-box-only vacuum at lower cost, see the XN-GBTB Acrylic Glove Box Type B; for an all-metal, corrosion-resistant chamber, consider the XN-STX Stainless Steel Glove Box.
