Name: Closed-Loop Organic Solvent Spray Dryer
Equipment Type: Laboratory Closed-Loop Nitrogen-Circulation Spray Dryer
Product Code: XN-OSD-2L
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction:
The XN-OSD-2L Closed-Loop Organic Solvent Spray Dryer is designed for laboratory drying of organic-solvent and aqueous formulations. For compatible organic-solvent applications, nitrogen serves as the circulating drying gas, helping reduce oxygen exposure while allowing the process gas and condensed solvent to be recovered and reused.
Liquid feed is delivered to a two-fluid atomizing nozzle, dried in the chamber, separated through the collection system, and recovered as dry powder. The exhaust stream passes through filtration and dual-stage condensation before the nitrogen is reheated and returned to the closed circulation loop.
Key Features:
Dual-use design for compatible organic-solvent or aqueous spray drying
Closed-loop nitrogen circulation
Solvent condensation and recovery
Oxygen-concentration monitoring and interlock
Pressure monitoring and automatic pressure relief
Automatic nozzle-cleaning needle
PLC control with 7-inch touchscreen
Process-data recording, export, curve display, alarm, and overload protection
Variable-speed airflow control
Quick-connect temperature, gas, and power connections
Compact mobile laboratory configuration

Process and Safety Functions:
The oxygen-analysis system can interlock heating and feeding according to the configured oxygen limit. Pressure monitoring and automatic relief support closed-loop operation, while dual-stage condensation improves solvent recovery. The inlet filter, cyclone separation, and final filtration stages support powder collection and exhaust-gas cleaning.
Typical Applications:
Organic-solvent-based battery and functional materials
Oxygen-sensitive formulations
Laboratory spray-drying process development
Flammable or volatile solvent systems after compatibility review
Toxic or environmentally sensitive volatile systems in controlled processes
Aqueous spray-drying research
Note: Organic-solvent spray drying requires a documented compatibility and safety review for the exact solvent, concentration, flash point, powder characteristics, nitrogen supply, condensation capacity, ventilation, electrical classification, and local regulations. Do not process an unapproved solvent or formulation. Optional equipment can include a nitrogen generator, heating and stirring device, weighing system, remote-control module, and alternative nozzle sizes. Related drying equipment includes the XN-DVO-3 Three-Door Vacuum Drying Oven and XN-DVO-1 Laboratory Vacuum Drying Oven.
