Nano Sand Mill XN-MS Series

SKU: XN-MS

Nano Sand Mill XN-MS Series is a large-flow circulating sand mill for wet, ultra-fine grinding, refining material to 1 μm – 50 nm as it cycles through the grinding chamber. A large-diameter rotor with cylinder-gap separator lets it run small grinding media of 0.05–2.0 mm.

For contamination-sensitive products, wetted parts are available in metal-free ceramic (silicon carbide, silicon nitride, zirconia) or polyurethane. The series spans 0.3–30 L tanks and 1.5–45 kW for bench through production scale.

Name: Nano Sand Mill XN-MS Series
Equipment Type: Large-Flow Circulating Sand Mill for Wet Nano-Grinding
Product Code: XN-MS
Brand: Xnergy

Product Introduction:

The XN-MS Series Nano Sand Mill is a large-flow circulating sand mill for ultra-fine wet grinding. Material is circulated through the grinding chamber one or more times, refining the particle-size distribution down to a target fineness of 1 μm – 50 nm. A large-diameter rotor combined with a cylinder-gap separator allows the use of small grinding media of different sizes, supporting fine, economical, and repeatable processing. For materials that must avoid metal contamination, the wetted parts can be supplied in ceramic — silicon carbide, silicon nitride, or zirconia — and in polyurethane. The series spans 0.3 L to 30 L grinding tanks with motor power from 1.5 kW to 45 kW, covering bench, pilot, and production-scale throughput.

Key Features:

Large-flow circulating grinding for an optimized particle-size distribution
Ultra-fine output from 1 μm down to 50 nm
Large-diameter rotor with cylinder-gap separator for the use of small grinding media (0.05–2.0 mm)
Metal-free wetted parts available in ceramic (silicon carbide, silicon nitride, zirconia) and polyurethane to avoid contamination
High efficiency, large output, and low energy consumption with simple control
Suited to wet-process nano-grinding across related industries
Easy to clean and maintain

The XN-MS Series spans bench- to production-scale tanks; grinding-media material (metal-free ceramic or polyurethane options) is specified at order time to match contamination and application requirements. Please confirm the appropriate model with sales based on target output and throughput.

Application Areas:

Lithium battery materials, including lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and silicon-carbon anode
Silicon powder, zirconia, alumina, and zirconium silicate
Electronic ceramics
Magnetic materials
Inks and coatings
Pesticides, medicine and food, and biochemical products
Other nanoscale material processing

Maintenance:

Flush the grinding chamber and circulation lines after each batch
Periodically lubricate moving parts to ensure smooth operation
If the equipment is not used for an extended period, clean and dry the chamber and apply protective measures to bare metal surfaces
Periodically inspect fasteners, hoses, and connections to prevent loosening or leaks
Inspect the grinding media and the cylinder-gap separator regularly; top up or replace media as needed
Check rotor and wetted-part wear and replace at end of life to maintain output fineness

Safety Notes:

Keep hands and body away from the feed port and moving parts during operation
Operation should be performed by a single trained operator
Disassembly and internal servicing should be performed only by qualified technicians
Verify the electrical installation and stable placement before commissioning
Stop circulation and relieve pressure before opening the chamber or performing maintenance

Specifications are provided for reference and may be adjusted to suit specific process requirements. Grinding-media material and wetted-part configuration are specified at order time.

Note: Specifications listed above are typical and for reference only. Actual grinding performance depends on the feed material, slurry properties, media selection, and operating parameters. The XN-MS Series is Xnergy’s wet, continuous nano-grinding solution — material is circulated through the chamber to reach 1 μm – 50 nm, with metal-free ceramic or polyurethane wetted parts available for contamination-sensitive products and tanks from 0.3 L to 30 L for bench through production scale. Feed should already be dispersible, so coarse solids are reduced upstream first: the XN-MT10 Jaw Crusher and XN-MDG10 Double Roller Crusher break bulk material down to a millable size, and the XN-PM-200 Disc Crusher takes it finer still. Where batch, dry, or small-volume grinding is preferred over continuous wet milling, a planetary ball mill is the alternative — for example the general-purpose XN-YXQM Series for ambient grinding. For the battery materials this mill is commonly used to refine, see our Cathode Materials and Anode Materials ranges.
