Material: Sodium Metal Ring with Optional Aluminum-Foil or Copper-Foil Current Collector
Product Code: XN-SIB-NaR01
Brand: Xnergy

Product Introduction:

XN-SIB-NaR01 sodium metal rings are pre-cut annular electrodes for sodium-ion battery research. The standard ring has a 25.5 mm outer diameter, an 18 mm inner diameter, and a 0.45 mm sodium-layer thickness. Custom sodium-layer thicknesses from 0.06 to 0.8 mm are available.

Three configurations are available: aluminum-foil current collector, copper-foil current collector, or no current collector. For foil-supported versions, the stated sodium-layer thickness excludes the 0.02 mm current collector.

Handling and Use Precautions:

1. Sodium rings with a thickness of ≤0.2 mm are soft and can deform easily. For these thin specifications, products with a current collector are recommended. Aluminum-foil current collectors are the most commonly selected option.

2. Sodium rings without a current collector are soft. Before removing the protective film, warm the ring surface to at least 50 °C using a heating plate or heat gun to facilitate film removal.

3. Products supplied in aluminum-plastic bag packaging are vacuum-packed in an aluminum-foil bag under argon and placed inside a sealed can. Transfer the sealed package into a glove box before opening. Do not cut open the aluminum-foil bag in air, as the sodium rings will oxidize. Oxidation caused by opening in air is not eligible for return or replacement. If the bag appears to have leaked on arrival, do not open it; take photographs and contact after-sales service.

4. Small white bottles are sealed inside a glove box. When not in use, tighten the bottle cap promptly to prevent oxidation.
