Product Introduction

Sodium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (NaTFSI) is the sodium-ion analog of LiTFSI, offering exceptional thermal stability and moisture tolerance for Na-ion battery research in demanding environments. The bulky, charge-delocalized TFSI⁻ anion suppresses ion pairing and supports high Na⁺ mobility in polymer and ionic liquid electrolyte matrices. Like LiTFSI, NaTFSI corrodes aluminum current collectors above ~3.7 V and is therefore best suited to cell formats using stainless steel or Ti current collectors, ionic liquid electrolytes, or solid polymer systems. NaTFSI is an important reference salt for fundamental Na⁺ transport studies and Na-ion solid-state electrolyte research.
