Product Introduction

The XN-GT18 is a solid-state battery mold for pressing solid electrolyte powders and testing solid-state cells. Solid electrolyte powders such as LLZO and LGPS are pressed inside the mold into high-density pellets, which are then characterized by EIS to measure intrinsic properties such as ionic conductivity and activation energy. Its electrode post is mirror-polished for a smooth, low-contact-resistance surface, and the upgraded hexagonal hand-tightening makes it easy to apply torque even when wearing gloves.

Key Features

Mirror-polished electrode post — a smooth surface that minimizes contact resistance. When high pressure (e.g. 300–500 MPa) is applied to improve solid–solid contact, the smooth post surface distributes the pressure evenly across the whole electrolyte surface, preventing the electrolyte pellet from cracking or crushing and avoiding short circuits caused by mechanical failure.
Upgraded hexagonal hand-tightening — the hexagon provides multiple flat faces, so torque can be applied with an open-end or ratchet wrench or by pinching with the fingers; it converts radial finger force into circumferential torque efficiently, giving a stable, anti-slip grip even when wearing gloves.
Raisable frame — the frame can be raised at no extra cost.
Smooth ceramic surface that resists powder sticking.
