Name: Laboratory Air Jet Mill
Equipment Type: Laboratory Compressed-Air Jet Pulverizer
Product Code: XN-AJM
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction:
The XN-AJM Laboratory Air Jet Mill is designed for small-batch powder micronization using compressed air. Material is metered into the grinding chamber and accelerated by high-speed airflow, where particles undergo repeated impact, shear, collision, and friction.
Particle classification occurs through the interaction of rotating airflow, centrifugal force, and inward gas flow. Coarser particles remain in the grinding zone for continued processing, while qualified fine particles are carried to the separation and collection system.
Key Features:
Compressed-air jet pulverization without conventional grinding media
Small-batch laboratory powder processing
Quantitative vibration feeding
Multiple pressure-control points
High-speed particle impact and shear grinding
Integrated particle classification
Cyclone gas-solid separation and powder collection
Suitable for research requiring fine and uniform powders
Control power configured according to destination-country electrical standards

Working Principle:
Compressed air carries the metered feed into the grinding chamber. High-speed airflow accelerates the particles and creates repeated particle-to-particle and particle-to-wall impact, shear, collision, and friction. Coarser particles remain near the outer grinding zone under centrifugal force, while finer qualified particles are transported inward by the airflow and discharged to the cyclone separator for gas-solid separation and collection.
Typical Applications:
Battery material powder preparation
Electronic and ceramic powders
Pharmaceutical and chemical research materials after compatibility review
High-purity fine-powder formulation development
Small-batch micronization and particle-size research
Other dry powders suitable for compressed-air jet milling
Note: Actual fineness and throughput depend on feed properties, initial particle size, hardness, moisture, compressed-air quality and pressure, feed rate, and classifier settings. Confirm powder explosibility, toxicity, static-control requirements, filtration, and material compatibility before processing.
