Horizontal Ball Mill & Tissue Grinder XN-M Series
SKU: XN-M
Horizontal Ball Mill & Tissue Grinder XN-M Series is an all-rounder horizontal oscillating mill for high-energy, fast nano-grinding. The jar vibrates horizontally so the inertia of the grinding balls drives high-energy impact, grinding, mixing, and homogenizing a sample in only tens of seconds.
The XN-MM100 suits high-throughput multi-sample tissue grinding, while the XN-MH100 reaches a finer ≤3 μm. Grinding containers are available in a wide range of materials.

Name: Horizontal Ball Mill & Tissue Grinder XN-M Series
Equipment Type: Horizontal Tissue Grinder / Horizontal High-Energy Ball Mill
Product Code: XN-M
Brand: Xnergy
Product Introduction:
The grinding jar of the XN-MM100 high-throughput tissue grinder (a high-energy oscillating ball mill) vibrates in the horizontal direction. The inertia of the grinding balls drives them to impact the sample against the arc-shaped inner surface with high energy, producing a strong crushing effect. It takes only a few tens of seconds to grind, mix, and homogenize a sample. The companion XN-MH100 works on the same horizontal high-energy principle and reaches a finer final fineness for fast nano-grinding.
Key Features:
Horizontal high-energy oscillation — the jar vibrates horizontally and ball inertia drives high-energy impact on the arc inner surface
Fast operation — grinds, mixes, and homogenizes a sample in only tens of seconds
All-rounder: high-throughput tissue grinding (XN-MM100) and fine, fast nano-grinding (XN-MH100)
Works with adapters and ball mill jars in a wide range of container materials
Compact benchtop design

Ball Mill Jar Selection:
The grinding jars are mold-formed with extremely smooth inner and outer walls to avoid material sticking during grinding. They are made from new, high-quality raw materials with strong oxidation resistance, and the bottom is formed with a large R-angle to reduce material sinking — supporting high grinding efficiency and a long service life. Jars and adapters are available in a range of materials to match the sample.

Application Areas:
Fast grinding, mixing, and homogenizing of samples
High-throughput, multi-sample tissue grinding
High-energy nano-grinding down to a few microns
Sample preparation across reagent tubes and ball mill jars in many materials
Battery R&D — fine grinding of cathode, anode, and precursor materials
Maintenance:
Clean the jars, adapters, and media thoroughly after each use to prevent cross-contamination
Inspect jars, lids, and adapters for wear before each run
Keep the control panel and chamber clean and dry
Confirm jars are balanced and secured before operation
Safety Notes:
Ensure jars and adapters are securely seated before starting
Keep the lid closed during operation
Do not exceed the rated sample volume or feed size
Set the vibration frequency and time appropriately for the sample
Specifications are provided for reference and may be adjusted to suit specific process requirements. Model, jar material, and configuration are specified at order time.
Note: Specifications listed above are typical and for reference only. Actual performance depends on the material, media, and jar. The XN-M Series is a horizontal high-energy oscillating mill that vibrates the jar horizontally so the grinding balls impact the sample at high energy, grinding, mixing, and homogenizing in seconds to minutes. The XN-MM100 favors high-throughput, multi-sample tissue grinding, while the XN-MH100 reaches a finer ≤3 μm for fast nano-grinding. For higher-throughput multi-tube tissue homogenizing, see the XN-YZ Tissue Grinder; for three-dimensional high-energy oscillation, the XN-SQM-2 Three-Dimensional Vibration Ball Mill; and for even higher-energy mechanical alloying, the XN-MAX1600 Ultra High Energy Ball Mill. Grinding jars are available in many materials, including the hard XN-MJ-WC Tungsten Carbide and metal-free XN-MJ-ZR Zirconia jars.
