The XN-JQT combines ultrafast Joule heating with rapid, programmable cooling to study and control material microstructures. Heating rates of ≥1000 °C/s and customizable heating, holding, and cooling programs support rapid thermal treatment and quenching under vacuum, argon, nitrogen, or another compatible protective atmosphere.
